HobbyKing Red Brick 30A ESC (They don’t carry the 25A version anymore so just stick with this. It’ll work.)

KK multicopter controlboard v5.5 with Xcopter configuration.


Balsa wood. Got it at my local hardware store. NOT RECOMMENDED!!! GO WITH V2.0 OR V3.0 INSTEAD!

    some times ago i started to make my own XCopter buying the parts on your list. i saw your videos but i can’t make it fly. how did you program the Radio?

    • Hi there!

      I didn’t really program the radio, all i did was to trim the copter when it flew. Can you tell me a bit more about your problem? Does it arm? What’s wrong?

        i don’t now exactly where i the problem. ESC seems ok, kk control board ok, motors connected and positioned in the right place.
        i tried many configuration to connect rx to the control board but no one made my xcopter show signs of life. i tried to change the tx’s configuration but nothing changed.
        a question: how did you connect your rx to the control board? i think i need the disposition of the cables.
